Does Matilda come to your home / provide on demand services?

We are happy to arrive at your door or anywhere you like (including internationally).

On demand services carry additional fees that are calculated based on your distance from us.

Why choose a professional makeup artist and hair stylist and not do my own makeup and hair?

Matilda focuses on the tiniest details. Our experience is what will make your hair and makeup stay perfect all throughout the event.

In addition, we know how you will look through the camera lens which allows us to provide you with the right makeup and hair for that perfect look and beautiful souvenir.

Should I do a facial before the wedding / event?

If you are used to “invasive” facials (dealing with blackheads, pimples and more), we recommend that you do the treatment three weeks prior to the event.

If you’re not used to getting facials, it’s best not to stress your skin before an important event.

Should I do a “glow” facial treatment before the wedding / event?

The purpose of this treatment is to give the skin a glowing effect by applying special creams. This treatment is not invasive and is suitable for all skin types.

Remember! Skin care and makeup do go together, therefore we recommend you do this treatment about a week prior to the event.

Do I need to bring a touch-up kit to the wedding / event?

We are committed to the durability of your makeup and hair so there is no need for you to use a touch-up kit during the event. The makeup and hair style selected will perfectly match your facial structure, skin and hair type.

That being said, we will provide you with our own, custom made, touch-up kit that includes oil-absorbing sheets, lipstick and hair pins so that you can feel relaxed knowing we’re always with you (even the day after!).

Do the decorative hair accessories cost extra?

No. We at Matilda believe you should look perfect (and complete) and therefore provide you with hair accessories at no extra cost.

Do the hair extensions cost extra?

No. Hair extensions are provided for your personal use at no extra cost; this however does not include the work they require which costs extra.

What is the deposit check? How does it apply to my hair accessories and hair extensions?

You will need to leave a deposit check for the total of all the design elements including the hair extensions. With their proper return to Matilda, the deposit check will be fully returned.

How many brides does Matilda treat a day?

One a day. We only provide the utmost personal care and attention.

How many accompaniers can Matilda treat?

We are a skilled team of professionals and are comfortable with any number of accompaniers.

The size of our staff will be adjusted according to the number of participants to maintain our personal touch and make you all feel calm and relaxed.

What does the Matilda bridal package include?

A trial meeting, a wedding day beauty treatment, makeup, hair styling, eyelashes, a touch-up kit (use during the wedding) and an after kit (use after the wedding). VAT is included.

How do I choose the makeup and hairstyle for the wedding?

As part of the bridal package, we will have a trial meeting to guide you on what is best according to your personal taste, facial features, hair structure, required durability and of course the overall appearance, keeping in mind the dress and the jewelry.

Events

How many customers does Matilda treat a day?

One group (family and friends) a day. We only provide the utmost personal care and attention.

What does the Matilda event package include?

A beauty treatment on the day of the event, makeup, hair styling, eyelashes, a touch-up kit. VAT is included.

How do I choose the makeup and hairstyle for the day of the event?

We’ll guide you on what is best according to your personal taste, facial features, the structure of your hair, required durability and of course the event itself.

Workshops

Do I need any prior knowledge to learn how to do my own makeup and hairstyle?

No preliminary knowledge is required. We will teach you everything required from A to Z.
